The Pakistani nation is celebrating Youm-e-Takbir today (May 28, 2020), on this day 22 years ago when Pakistan demonstrated nuclear power in response to the Indian nuclear blasts.
Pakistan responded to India’s nuclear blasts on May 28, 1998, with a bomb blast in the Chaghi area of Balochistan province.
After the nuclear blasts 22 years ago, Pakistan became the first Muslim world and the 7th nuclear power in the world and this day is commemorated by the Pakistani nation as ‘Youm-e-Takbir’.
