WhatsApp tends to update and introduce new features to the app. By 2022, WhatsApp introduced the ability to enable black mode, send missing messages, use advanced search mode, join group calls, and much more. This year too the company has released a number of positive features, so if you missed the latest updates, here is a quick overview of all the good features introduced in 2022.

Top 5 WhatsApp privacy Features

One of the most popular aspects of WhatsApp privacy includes the quality of the Last Visibility which enables users to analyze the past when viewing messages in the app. Users who wish to change their last visibility level, can change it.

Make calls on a PC

You can now stream WhatsApp voice and video calls directly to your laptop without accessing your phone. You just need to install WhatsApp Windows or Mac on your PC and log in to your account to get started.

Send and receive money

Although WhatsApp Payments was launched in 2021, it was made widely available for both Android and iOS users in India this year. Allows users to send and receive money based on the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) system.

Use the multi-device feature

This year we also discovered the highly anticipated feature of many devices on WhatsApp. That allows you to use WhatsApp on a laptop, PC, or tablet simultaneously without connecting your phone to the internet. This makes it really easy to use WhatsApp on many devices.

Mute videos before sharing

You can mute videos before sharing them in WhatsApp conversations. If you often record your videos and send them to WhatsApp with a bad background sound, this feature can be really helpful for you.

Transfer conversations from iPhone to Android

Another useful feature released by WhatsApp this year is the ability to transfer conversations from iPhone to Android. You can find new navigation conversations on the android feature under the Settings menu. It will make it easier for you to move your conversations, but you will need a USB-C cable to lightning to complete this transfer.

Send disappearing media files

Another interesting WhatsApp feature introduced this year is View Kanye. Allows you to send photos and videos to chats that can be viewed only once by the recipient. All you need to do is press the new ‘1’ icon before sending the media file, and it will automatically disappear once it is turned on.
