Shah Rukh Khan’s Pakistani cousin Noor Jehan passes away
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s cousin living in Peshawar, socialite and former woman councilor Noor Jehan, Muni, met the creator while battling cancer.
Noor Jehan, a politically active woman who took part in the 2018 general elections as an independent, withdrew her nomination papers and withdrew her election. Noor, who had previously served as a district and town councilor.
Noor Jehan lived in his ancestral home in Shah Wali Kotal, adjacent to the Kisani Khwani Bazaar, wherein his childhood Shah Rukh Khan visited Peshawar with his parents twice, while Noor Jehan also visited his cousin Shah Rukh, India many times.

She sent countless gifts from Peshawar to India in the name of his cousin Shah Rukh Khan, while annually celebrating Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday which brought him international and Pakistani media.
Shah Rukh Khan promised to come to Peshawar to meet Noor Jehan but he could not come. Noor Jehan, who had been suffering from cancer for the past one year, was unable to respond to the deadly disease. She was buried in his ancestral graveyard in Peshawar.
