The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that all-rounders Shadab Khan, Haider Ali and Haris Rauf have tested positive in the Corona Test. According to the board, the affected players were tested on Sunday and no signs of the corona were found in the three players before the testing.
All three players have been instructed to go into self-isolation immediately. The board said that the medical panel of the PCB is in full touch with the three players in this regard. Remember that all three cricketers are in Pakistan’s squad for the tour of England.
Officials said that the test of Usman Shinwari and Imad Waseem was negative after which both the players have been directed to reach Lahore on June 24. Besides, tests of all other players and officials in the squad including Shoaib Malik, Cliff Deacon, and Waqar Younis have been completed today. The test was conducted in four different cities, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar. Remember that the Pakistan cricket team has to play a series of 3 Tests and 3 T20 matches in England. The series is scheduled for August and September.
