Prominent religious scholar and Shaykh al-Hadith Mufti Taqi Usmani has said that non-Muslims in the Islamic State have the right to maintain a place of worship in their populated area.
In his statement regarding the construction of the temple in Islamabad, Mufti Taqi Usmani said that in a country like Pakistan which is made of peace. New places of worship can be built there as needed.
Mufti Taqi Usmani added, “But it is not permissible for the government to build a temple at its own expense, especially in a place where the Hindu community has a very small population.
اسلامی ریاست میں غیر مسلموں کو حق ہے کہ جہاں انکی آبادی کے لئے ضروری ہو وہ اپنی عبادت گاہ برقرار رکھیں اورپاکستان جیسے ملک میں جو صلح سے بناہے وہ ضرورت کے موقع پر نئی عبادت گاہ بھی بنا سکتے ہیں لیکن حکومت کے لئے جائز نہیں ہے کہ وہ اپنے خرچ پر مندر تعمیر کرے خاص طورپر ایسی جگہ۱/۲

جہاں ہندو برادری کی آبادی بہت کم ہو اس لئے اسلام آباد میں حکومت کے لئے ہرگز جائز نہیں ہے کہ وہ اپنے خرچ پر مندر تعمیر کرائے- نہ جانے اس نازک وقت میں کیوں ایسے شاخسانے کھڑے کئے جاتے ہیں جن سے انتشار پیدا ہونے کے سوا کوئی فائدہ نہیں ہے
