My Views:

If you’re looking for a router that is budget-friendly, Tp-Link Archer A7 is my top option. For about $50 it’s hard to find better that this model. It has excellent features, including the VPN server Alexa Compatible, QoS and a host of other advanced features. This is my top recommendation for a budget-friendly router.

Overviews:

The Tp-Link AC1750 A7 is an AC wireless standard router that comes with dual-band compatibility. As a new router this router is compatible perfectly with Alexa and IFTTT flawlessly and is works to every 802.11ac devices. Tp-Link AC1750 A7 is able to provide an maximum combined speeds that can reach 1750 Mbps(450Mbps on 2.4Ghz and 1300Mbps when using 5Ghz) which means that it will not have any issues streaming 4K content or gaming HD games.

The overall layout that the router has is great. It features 3 External Antennas that offer a vast spectrum of coverage, up to 2500 sq.ft. On the back of the router you’ll discover four Gigabit Ethernet ports for LAN that permit several wired connection. The router also comes with an embedded USB port to share contentand functions as media server.

For this price I’m not convinced there’s any router in the market today that can offer these advanced technologies and features. If it’s network security or QoS VPN Server, parental control, or even voice control, this router is worth the cost. It has just one USB port, and a few guest problems with bandwidth on networks. Apart from that this router is the most budget-friendly router for 2021.

Netgear Nighthawk R6700 (AC1750)

My Views:

If you can invest a bit more an option that is better over Tp-Link Archer A7 could be the Netgear Nighthawk. The router is AC1750, but it’s robust and has more features that are not available on the Archer A7. Like Archer A7, the Netgear R6700 can also work with ALEXA. My second recommendation for the most affordable routers’ is the R6700.

If you’re looking to play HD online games or streaming HD media the router will not let you down as it permits you to control the priority of bandwidth according to your device’s usage.

Its design is attractive; it appears premium and is black in color. On the back of this router you’ll see a number of ports essential to your needs that include 1x USB 3.0 and 4x Gigabit Ethernet ports for LAN as well as 1x WAN port as well as some physical buttons. The front of the router, you’ll be able to see some indicators for the router’s status.
