Rain and snow in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan

Rain and snowfall have started in different parts of the country, which is likely to increase the intensity of the cold. According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall and snowfall have been continuing in the northwestern districts of Balochistan including Quetta since Sunday morning. Snowfall has caused the white sheet to rise due to snowfall, which has led to a sharp increase in cold weather, meteorologists say, and snowfall has been reduced to about 6 inches in the shrine and the surrounding area. It is likely to continue till Monday.

Rainfall and snowfall continue in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan and North and South Waziristan districts since last night. Wana, Azam Warsak, Shah Alam, Shakai Valley, Raghzai and Pak Afghan Border have closed roads in several places due to snowfall, causing many areas to lose ground contact. Travelers face severe problems due to snow accumulation on the road leading to the Lowry Tunnel.
In addition to Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dera Ghazi Khan district of southern Punjab and its adjoining areas, as well as the mountainous areas of Koh Suleiman, are intermittent.

According to the Meteorological Department, torrential rains and heavy snowfall are expected in the plains of Balochistan during Sunday and Peer, while rivers in northern Balochistan are expected to rise.
