Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif also tested positive for the coronavirus. PML-N Deputy Secretary-General Attaullah Tarar and PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb confirmed that Shahbaz Sharif was infected with the Coronavirus.

Attaullah Tarar said that in the current situation NAB summoned Shahbaz Sharif and put his life in danger. The PML-N leader said that the NAB had been informed several times in writing that Shahbaz Sharif was suffering from cancer. His immunity is lower than that of ordinary people. Maryam Aurangzeb said that Shahbaz Sharif has isolated himself at home after receiving the report of coronavirus test.
