Pakistan records the first death due to Coronavirus in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Speaking to Geo News Faizullah Faraq said: “The person was of 90-years-old and was a resident of district Chilas.”
He added that the person belonging to the deceased was from Chilas, who had been in CMH Gilgit for 4 days. Spokesman Gilgit-Baltistan also said that the deceased had no travel history.

Three cases of Coronavirus were reported from Gilgit-Baltistan, one in which two are under treatment. According to government spokesman Faizullah Faraq, the patient had pneumonia and was suffering from severe fever, doctors also performed tests to diagnose the disease. He said the number of people affected by Corona in Gilgit-Baltistan has risen to thirteen.
