Pakistan COVID-19 death toll reaches 128 and total cases 6860

The death toll due to coronavirus is increasing rapidly in Pakistan as Pakistan reports new deaths after which the death toll reaches 128. The total number of coronavirus cases has risen to 6860 in Pakistan.

The first cases of coronavirus was reported on 26th February in Pakistan. Initially the spread of the virus was very low, but in the last 15 days the spread of coronavirus in Pakistan is on the rise. Various sanctions and partial lockdowns have also been extended to prevent the virus in the country till April 30, but the death toll from the virus is also on the rise.

By April 16, 2020, Pakistan reports new deaths and cases from different provinces including, Sindh, Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Balochistan.

Sindh:

Sindh reports 340 more cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. After which the total number of coronavirus cases has risen to 2008 in the province. The Sindh province also reports 4 new deaths of coronavirus. Sindh Coronavirus death toll reaches 45.

Sindh also reports 16 new recovered cases after which the number of recovered cases has risen to 576.

Punjab:

Punjab also reports 4 coronavirus deaths and 216 new cases in the last 24 hours. The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has risen to 3232. The death toll due to coronavirus is 34 in Punjab. Punjab also reports 550 coronavirus recovered cases.

Balochistan:

Balochistan reports one new death case. According to the Balochistan government spokesman the province also reports 4 new cases of coronavirus after which the total number of cases has risen to 285.

Islamabad:

Federal Capital reports 5 new coronavirus cases after which the total cases in Islamabad have risen to 145.

Gilgit Baltistan:

Gilgit Baltistan also reports new cases of coronavirus after which the number has risen to 237.
