With the increase in the intensity of heat, load shedding is going on in small and big cities of Punjab including Lahore due to which the citizens are very worried.
Consumers say that despite paying so much, the power supply is not being maintained in the heat.
Repeated power outages have also upset industrialists, shopkeepers and traders. They say businesses are being affected if the government finds a permanent solution to the uninterrupted supply of electricity.
On the other hand, LESCO officials say that there is no difference between the demand and supply of electricity, so no unannounced load shedding is taking place in any place. If a fault occurs in some places, it is rectified immediately.
