Death toll has risen to 21 and total cases 1670

Coronavirus which causes 34000 deaths until today (30 March 2020) is not stopping and it’s now spreading rapidly in Pakistan. COVID-19 cases in Pakistan are increasing day by day. The total cases in Pakistan have risen to 1670. The death toll due to coronavirus in Pakistan has risen to 21.

Pakistan records 5 deaths in one day on March 29th. This is the highest number of deaths in Pakistan in one day. Yesterday Sindh reports 2 deaths, Punjab reports 2 deaths, KPK and Gilgit Baltistan reports 1 death each. As a result, Pakistan reports 5 deaths in one day.

However, today (30th March), Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi confirmed two more deaths. With these 2 deaths, the death toll due to coronavirus in Punjab has risen to 8. But, officials told that the total deaths in Punjab are 6.

Punjab is now leading with most coronavirus cases in Pakistan. So, far Punjab reports 638 coronavirus cases. While Sindh is the 2nd most affected province with 508 cases. Similarly, 192 cases are in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 141 in Balochistan, 128 in Gilgit Baltistan, 51 in Islamabad and 6 in Azad Kashmir.

However, where so many people are affected by the virus, there are also 28 recovered. By March 30, 2020, the total cases in Pakistan have risen to 1670.

Sindh:

Sindh reports 2 deaths today (March 30). The death toll due to coronavirus in Sindh has risen to 5. The death news of 2 patients was confirmed by the Sindh Health Department on Twitter.

Sindh Health Department said that 66 years and 52-year old patients were suffering from Kidney and respiratory diseases and they affected with coronavirus at the Raiwand Ijtima. The death toll has risen to 5 in Sindh. Later, the Health Department confirmed six more cases in Sindh, after which the total number of coronavirus cases in the province reached 508.

Punjab:

2 more coronavirus patients have died in Rawalpindi. Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Anwar-ul-Haq confirmed the death of both men and said one patient was 63 years old and the other female was 55 years old.

He said that a 63-year-old Coronavirus patient had UK travel history and he was under treatment for the last two weeks in a public hospital’s isolation ward. In addition, the deputy commissioner said the 55-year-old woman was undergoing treatment at Taxila and had been diagnosed with the Coronavirus. According to Anwar-ul- Haq, the woman was also a diabetic.

In addition, the provincial health department confirmed 45 new cases in the province. Due to this, the total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has risen to 638.

Islamabad:

According to official COVID-19 web data, Islamabad reports 8 new coronavirus cases. The coronavirus cases in Islamabad has risen to 51. Out of 51 coronavirus patients in Islamabad 2 are now fully recovered.

Gilgit Baltistan:

Gilgit Baltistan reports 12 new coronavirus cases and the total cases in Gilgit Baltistan have risen to 128. So, far Gilgit Baltistan reports 1 death and 4 fully recovered.

Coronavirus Deaths in Pakistan:

The first death due to Coronavirus was reported on March 18 in Pakistan. On same day 2nd death was also reported. These two deaths were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On 20th March a death reported in Karachi and total death has risen to 3 in Pakistan. In KPK one more patient lost his life due to coronavirus on 22nd March.

On the same day, Gilgit Baltistan reports a death due to Coronavirus. A doctor who was treating coronavirus patients in GB lost his life. Balochistan reports a death due to coronavirus on 23rd March. Punjab reports first death due to COVID-19 on March 24th.  The death in Punjab was the first death of a local case in Pakistan. Punjab reports one more death on 25th March in Rawalpindi. A 50 years old woman died in Rawalpindi.

On March 26th, a patient lost his life in a private hospital in Lahore, following which the Coronavirus in the province killed 3 and a total of 9 deaths in the country.

Friday, March 27, another patient died in Lahore due to the Coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 4 in the province.

On the same day, Faisalabad reports a death due to coronavirus. A 22-year-old man died in Faisalabad on 27th March. After that death toll has risen to 5 in Punjab. The death toll due to coronavirus has risen to 11 in Pakistan.

On March 28, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister’s Information Minister Ajmal Wazir confirmed the death of a woman, leading to 12 deaths in the country.

As per official website data, Sindh reports the new case of Corona death on 28th March and the total deaths due to coronavirus in Pakistan have risen to 13.

On 29 March, A spokesman of health department Sindh confirmed the death of 2 more coronavirus patients in the province. With these two new deaths, the death toll in Sindh has increased to 3.

On March 30, two more people were killed by the Coronavirus in the country and the total death toll rose to 19.
