Xiaomi has introduced a new and cheapest 5G smartphone in the Redmi Note series. The Redmi Note 10 JE is the 8th model in the series to be introduced in Japan.

In fact, this phone can be considered as a better version of Redmi Note 10 5G and Redmi Note 10 T 5G, with some special features given to the Japanese market. The design of this phone is similar to the Redmi Note 10 5G but it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 processor instead of MediaTek’s Dementia 700.

It is the first phone in the series to be IP68 certified for dust and water-resistant. The Redmi Note 10JE comes with a 6.5-inch LCD display with 90 Hz refresh rate support, with an 8-megapixel selfie camera hidden in a punch-hole design.

The phone has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage which can be expanded up to 1 TB with a microSD card. The 4800 mAh battery comes with 18 watts of fast charging support.

The back of the phone has a setup of 3 cameras with a 48-megapixel main camera with a 2-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth camera. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and headphone jack, while the Android 11 operating system is integrated with MIUI 12.5.

And yes no charger will be provided with this phone. As mentioned above, it has been offered for sale in Japan but the company has not announced availability in other countries. The phone is priced at $262 (over 42,000 Pakistani rupees).
