Almost 3 years after the introduction of the Mi Mix 3 concept phone, its real successor has emerged, which is also Xiaomi‘s best phone ever. Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has been introduced which is the first smartphone of this company that has a selfie hidden inside the camera display.

The company has used the term camera under panel for this technology. The biggest development of the phone is the 20-megapixel selfie camera hidden inside the 6.67-inch elbow display with 1.6 µm size pixels.
To keep the pixels right in the camera section, the company used a new flexible display to make the circuit as transparent as possible so that the light could reach the selfie camera sensor.
Xiaomi linked it to algorithms using a new micro-diamond pixel pattern to minimize light deflection while easily reading text on the screen above the camera.
