The function of the high-pressure fuel pump

The oil outlet of the high-pressure fuel pump enters the oil cooler, and then enters the oil filter after the oil cooler comes out. After coming out of the oil filter, it is divided into two paths, one is decompressed and then supplied, and the other is the control oil. There may be one or two accumulators in the oil circuit. Its function is to increase the fuel pressure and high-pressure injection to achieve the atomization effect. The main purpose of the high-pressure fuel pump is to serve as a power source for hydraulic devices such as jacks, head-entering machines, extruders, and flower-making machines.

The function and working principle of the automobile high-pressure fuel pump

The high-pressure fuel pump is the interface between the high-pressure oil circuit and the low-pressure oil circuit. Its function is to generate fuel pressure in the common rail pipe by controlling the fuel output. Under all working conditions, it is mainly responsible for providing sufficient high-pressure fuel to the common rail.

The main purpose of the high-pressure fuel pump is to serve as a hydraulic device for jacks, head-entering machines, extruders, flower-making machines, etc.
. The installation order of the high-pressure fuel pump is as follows: During the high-pressure oil pump process, all holes of the unit should be covered to prevent debris from falling into the machine. Place the unit on the foundation with embedded anchor bolts, and use a pair of wedges between the base and the foundation for correction. Correct the concentricity of the pump shaft and the motor shaft. On the outer circle of the coupling, the allowable deviation is 0.1 mm; the clearance between the two coupling planes should be ensured to be 2-4 mm (small pump takes the smaller value). The clearance should be uniform and the allowable tolerance is 0.3 mm.

Working principle of high-pressure fuel pump

1. Suction stroke

During the suction process, the downward movement of the pump piston provides the power for suction, and the inlet valve is opened at the same time, and the fuel is sucked into the pump chamber. In the last 1/3 of the pump, the fuel pressure regulating valve is energized, so that the inlet valve is still open at the beginning of the upward movement of the pump piston to return the oil. 2. Return stroke

In order to control the actual supply, the inlet valve is still open at the beginning of the upward movement of the pump, and the excess fuel is squeezed back to the low-pressure end by the pump piston. The function of the pressure reducer is to absorb the fluctuations generated in this process. Function and working principle of automobile high-pressure fuel pump

3. Pumping stroke

At the beginning of the pumping stroke, the fuel pressure regulating valve is powered off, causing the inlet valve to close under the combined action of the increased pressure in the pump chamber and the closing spring in the valve.

The upward movement of the pump piston generates pressure in the pump chamber. When the pressure exceeds the pressure in the fuel rail, the outlet valve is opened and the fuel is pumped into the fuel rail.
