There is no institution in Pakistan more corrupt than railway

The Supreme Court summoned Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed in the railway deficit case and remarked that there is nothing working properly on the railway. A three-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed, heard the railway deficit case. Expressing an absolute audit report to the Railways, the Supreme Court said that the Railway Ministry should first travel on the train itself. Justice Ijaz-ul-Hassan said that the railway system was not running and the report made it clear that the department was facing billions of rupees deficit.

The Chief Justice remarked without naming the Minister Railway that the Railway is falling and forming the government on a daily basis, but the Ministry is unable to take over. Railway lawyer said the matter was investigated and two persons were prosecuted. The Chief Justice expressed his gratitude, saying that the CEO of the Railways did not submit his proceedings in the stove.
