Record 63 deaths in one day in the Pakistan

The Coronavirus, which has spread to millions of people around the world, is now spreading rapidly in Pakistan and so far 64,832 people have been infected and 1,346 people have died. According to official figures, 1,831 cases of corona have been reported in the country so far, with 63 deaths, but more than 2,000 people have recovered.

On February 26, the first case of Corona epidemic in the country came to light. Various restrictions and lockdowns were imposed which were later relaxed.

Today (May 29) new cases and deaths of the epidemic were confirmed in Pakistan.

Sindh

Another 804 new cases of coronavirus and a record of 31 deaths in a single day were reported in Sindh today. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that 3316 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours out of which 804 were positive. After these new cases, the number of affected people in Sindh reached 26113.

Murad Ali Shah said there had been 31 deaths in the province in the last 24 hours, the highest number of deaths per day from Corona so far.

“The deaths of these 31 patients are very tragic. May God have mercy on us,” he said, adding that the total death toll in the province has reached 427 so far.

Punjab

Another 927 cases of coronavirus and 29 deaths were recorded in Punjab. According to the spokesperson of primary and secondary health care, after these new cases in the province, the total number of victims has reached 22,964. He also said that 29 more people lost their lives in Punjab after which the death toll from the virus has risen to 410 so far.

Islamabad

Cases are on the rise in Islamabad, which was initially less affected by the virus. Another 85 people in Islamabad were diagnosed with the coronavirus, while three people lost their lives, according to an official data website. Since then, the number of victims has risen to 2,100, while the death toll has risen to 22.

Gilgit-Baltistan

In Gilgit-Baltistan, the number of corona patients continues to rise. According to statistics, 7 new cases of this global epidemic have come to light in Gilgit-Baltistan. Since then, the number of people infected with the virus has risen from 651 to 658.

Azad Kashmir

Another 8 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Azad Kashmir. According to statistics, the number of infected people in the area least affected by the virus has risen from 219 to 227 after these new cases.

Recovered cases

In addition, the number of people recovering from the virus has increased in the country. In the last 24 hours, 2,074 patients have recovered from the corona epidemic in the country.

Since then, the number of people recovering from the epidemic in the country has increased from 20,231 to 22,305.

Currently, Sindh province is most affected and there are 26,113 cases, followed by Punjab, where 22,964 people have been affected. The epidemic has affected 2,100 people in Islamabad, 658 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 227 in Azad Kashmir.
