Pakistan’s coronavirus affected toll rises to 729, Sindh’s cases rise to 396

Coronavirus infecting the world is now spreading rapidly in Pakistan and the number of people infected here has exceeded 700.

The new cases in the country today (Saturday) include 128 from Sindh province, 41 from Punjab, 12 from Balochistan, 4 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 34 new cases from Gilgit-Baltistan.

Thus, if you look at the number of victims across the country, so far it has been 730, including 396 in Sindh, 137 in Punjab, 104 in Balochistan, 27 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 10 in Islamabad, 55 in Gilgit-Baltistan and one from Kashmir.

Sindh:

Sindh is most affected by Coronavirus in Pakistan. Today (Saturday) It has reports 105 new cases. In this regard, Health Department spokesman Sindh Miran Yusuf said that 15 more cases were reported in the province. Later, a spokesman of the Health Department of Sindh confirmed 90 new cases in the province, after which the number has risen to 357.

He said that new cases were confirmed in the pilgrims returning from Iran and all these persons have been kept in Quarantina in Sukkur. A few hours later, they confirmed two more cases, after which the number had reached 359 in the province. Later on in Sukkur, 36 more pilgrims from Tuftan confirmed the Coronavirus and the number of affected people in Sindh increased to 396.

According to Miran Yusuf, a spokesman for the Sindh Health Department, 3 cases were reported in Karachi on Saturday and 125 cases in Sukkur.

Punjab:

Meanwhile, 41 more cases were reported in Punjab as the number of cases has increased to 137 in the province. Health Department Punjab spokesman Qaiser Asif said 41 people in the province had positive for the Coronavirus test. Following these new cases, the number of patients with this outbreak in the province increased to the second-highest in the country.

Balochistan:

12 more new cases of Coronavirus were reported in Balochistan. In this regard, Balochistan Chief Secretary Fazil Asghar confirmed the new cases in the province and said that in 104 people, Corona’s test has been positive so far.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:

Meanwhile, Ajmal Wazir, the Focal Person of the Health Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, confirmed 2 new cases in the province. He said both patients came from abroad and their coronary test came out positive, but both of them are undergoing treatment at the police services hospital.

Later, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department confirmed two more cases in the province.

In a statement, the provincial health department said the Corona test came out positive in two more people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after which the number of patients in the province increased to 27.

Gilgit-Baltistan

In addition, official web data reported 9 more cases reported in Gilgit-Baltistan during the last 24 hours.

Later, the official website added another 25 cases, bringing the number of victims of the Coronavirus to 55 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

It should be noted that the deadly Coronavirus, which originated in Wuhan, China’s province of Hubei late last year, has wreaked havoc worldwide and more than 11,000 people have died from the global outbreak so far.

Although the number of patients infected with the virus is still high in China, it has led Europe to the highest number of deaths, especially Italy, and has killed more than 4,000 people there.

The virus came to Pakistan at the end of February, and so far 2 deaths have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and one in Sindh.
