The global pandemic Coronavirus, which is spreading around the world is also spreading rapidly in Pakistan. After 26 more new cases the total number of coronavirus cases reached 20, 603 while the death toll is 469.
It has been more than two months since the outbreak of Coronavirus in Pakistan. Initially, the growth rate of cases was slow but now it is increasing rapidly.

The first case of the coronavirus was reported in the country on February 26, after which until 31st March the total number of people infected with the global epidemic was more than 2000, and 8 deaths were reported.
However, since early April, there has been an increase in the number of cases of the Corona epidemic, and by April 30, the number of people affected in the country had exceeded 16,000, while 359 people had died in that period.
Since the beginning of May, in just three days, the number of Coronavirus victims has exceeded 20,603, while the death toll has reached 469.
In addition, a record of 1,324 cases of coronavirus was reported in Pakistan yesterday.
Today (May 4) also new cases of coronavirus were reported in the country and the number of people recovering from the epidemic also increased.
Islamabad
Another 22 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the federal capital Islamabad. According to the official website the number of corona patients in Islamabad has risen from 393 to 415.
It is to be noted that the number of cases is increasing in the federal capital in view of which the district administration had sealed 2 residential areas of Sector I-10.
Azad Kashmir
On the other hand, coronavirus has been confirmed in 4 more people in Azad Kashmir. After the new cases, the total number of people infected with coronavirus in Azad Kashmir has increased from 67 to 71.
It may be recalled that Azad Kashmir has been the least affected by the epidemic where the rate of increase in cases is lower than in other parts of the country.
Recovered Cases
However, the ray of hope during the epidemic is an increase in the number of people recovering from the virus.
While the number of people infected with the coronavirus has increased in the country, on the other hand, the number of people who have contracted the virus is also increasing.

According to official figures, 476 more people in the country have recovered from the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovering in Pakistan from 5,114 to 5,590.
Overall Situation in Pakistan
If we take a look at the overall situation of the country with regard to coronavirus, there is not much difference between the cases of Sindh and Punjab at present. This number is 7,465 in Sindh and 7,494 in Punjab.
Similarly, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 3,129 people were infected with the coronavirus, while in Balochistan, the number has reached 1,218.
A total of 415 people have been affected by the addition of new cases in the federal capital Islamabad, compared to 364 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
In addition, 71 people have so far been infected with the virus in Azad Kashmir.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on the other hand, has been the hardest hit in terms of deaths in the country.
