In response to a video that went viral on Twitter, PML-N leaders Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz’s spokesman Muhammad Zubair called it a “very shameful act”.

Former Sindh governor and PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and vice president Maryam Nawaz’s spokesman Muhammad Zubair on Monday said the viral video leaked to him on social media was “fake”.

On Sunday, a private video went viral on social media, in which the person seen was allegedly Muhammad Zubair. Muhammad Zubair in his response to the video in a tweet on Monday said that this is not politics but a very bad move. He described the video as “fake” and said that “everything behind it was very embarrassing.”

Muhammad Zubair said: “I have served my country with honesty, dignity, and determination. I will continue to raise my voice for the betterment of Pakistan. This video has been a top trend on Twitter in Pakistan since the last day and users are also sharing comments and memes on it.

Muhammad Zubair is a fierce critic of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government and has often been seen on TV shows criticizing government policies and measures. It is believed that the alleged private videos of many politicians have been leaked in the past as well.

The management of Awari Towers said in a statement that “according to their direct or indirect information, no cameras have been installed in the hotel rooms.”

The management of Awari Towers, without mentioning Zubair Umar’s name or the video, said, “If a video has been recorded in a camera inside someone’s room, the camera was illegally installed there. The administration did not know or agree.
