The district administration sealed off 7 more areas in the second phase of Corona Smart Lockdown.
According to police another 40 hotspot areas have been completely closed. After this, the number of hotspot areas in the city has risen to 101. The other seven areas of Lahore that were sealed include DHA, Gulberg, Model Town, Faisal Town, Garden Town, Gulshan-e-Ravi, and Androon-e-Lahore.
According to police, all phases and blocks of Defense, Gulberg, Model Town, and Garden Town have been completely closed. According to CCPO Zulfiqar Hameed, 40 hotspot areas have been closed by 237 points. Divisional officers will carry out the full supervision of Corona SOPs in hotspot areas. Meanwhile, 3,546 personnel including 43 SHOs have been deployed in the hotspot areas.
Grocery and medical stores will remain open in the sealed areas. Residents of the affected areas have been asked not to move unnecessarily.
