IPL 2020 is likely to cancel?

The COVID-19 outbreak that starts from China has taken almost 4000 lives worldwide, and more than 1 lac 20,000 people are affected by this deadly coronavirus.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak Indian Premier League (IPL), 2020 is likely to cancel. According to news, state governments are taking steps to cancel IPL 2020, as this can grow the pandemic of coronavirus. Karnataka state of India has rejected to host IPL 2020 matches. Maharashtra has also banned the sale of IPL 2020 tickets. Cancellation of IPL 2020 news is not confirmed yet but is likely to cancel as the deadly virus is not stopping and it is growing rapidly worldwide.

In view of all this, the IPL’s Governing Council will meet on March 14 to discuss the worsening situation with the coronavirus. At the same meeting, it will be decided whether the IPL will be canceled or not.

Foreign Players are not available for IPL 2020

It becomes difficult for BCCI to hold IPL this year. Due to recent changes by the government of India in visa policy. 60 foreign players will not get an Indian visa for IPL 2020 but this situation is not confirmed yet. BCCI is considering holding IPL 2020 matches in empty stadiums but the final decision will be made in the meeting.
