According to a foreign media report, internet services have been restored conditionally in the Indian occupied Kashmir, according to an official at the Internet Service Provisioning BSNL, following the instructions of the authorities, they have begun to restore Internet service.

According to the report, during this period, some Kashmiri citizens continued to use the Internet through Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).

Following the verdict, the Twitter account of former Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti, who was in the Indian government’s jail, tweeted that the authorities have realized that this internet ban is useless because Kashmiri already uses internet through VPNs.

This Tweet was made by Iltaja Mufti, daughter Mehbooba Mufti. Authorized authorities have made this Internet service conditional. According to the notification issued, the internet speed on mobile will be the only 2G, 4G networks are still closed.
