Germany Records First Confirmed Case of Coronavirus

The first case of the Coronavirus has now emerged in the European country of Germany after China. Authorities have confirmed the first case of the Coronavirus in the German state of Bavaria.

According to the German Broadcasting Agency, the virus victim is from Starnberg, near Munich. A German health ministry statement said the patient was placed in a separate ward under intensive care and surveillance to prevent further spread of the virus.
