Until the results do not come out, the passengers are requested to quarantine themselves. If in any case, the results turn out to be positive; the travellers have to self-quarantine themselves for 14 days by following all the instructions of the Ministry of Health and prevention.

Which airlines are flying to Dubai?

Almost all the reputed airlines fly to Dubai from different countries. Which airlines are flying to Dubai?

Requirements for all travelers; travelling to Dubai

There are some rules which are given by the UAE government for travellers; travelling to Dubai. The newest guidelines were given on the 5th of Sep, 2021; the guidelines are as follows for travellers and residents of the country-

For Vaccinated travellers

If the vaccinated travellers are travelling from the ” green countries” ( you can find a list of countries mentioned under green countries); they have to take an RT-PCR test on arrival and on the 6th day of their stay. However, the passengers do not need to quarantine themselves.

If the passengers are travelling from any other country; then they are required to take an RT-PCR test on the day of arrival and on the 4th day of their stay. Also, the passengers do not need to quarantine themselves.

Unvaccinated travellers

The passengers travelling from the green countries need to take an RT-PCR test on the day of arrival, on the 6th day and on the 12th day of arrival. Also, the passengers do not need to quarantine themselves.

Unvaccinated passengers travelling from any other country than the ones mentioned in the green countries. Have to go through an RT-PCR on the day of arrival and quarantine themselves for 10 days, and have to go through an RT-PCR test again on the 9th day.

Also, travellers are mandated to submit negative RT-PCR reports on Dubai airport; which should be taken within 48 hours of travel.

Quarantine Dubai Travel Guidelines for Travellers

You should carry a negative RT-PCR report which should not be longer than 96 hours. Also, you may be asked to test on arrival in Dubai, which also should be negative. If you are tested again at Dubai airport; you should quarantine yourself till you receive your results.

If by chance you get a positive RT-PCR report; you should self-quarantine yourself; by following all the instructions given by the Dubai health authority. However, if you test negative you do not need to quarantine yourself.

Penalty for violating the Quarantine rules

If you are found violating the rules of self-quarantine; and endangering the lives of other people in the country. You may be fined a penalty of AED 50,000.
