Demands to close all historical sites, including the Taj Mahal

After the increase in the Coronavirus cases in India, all historical places including the Taj Mahal is the demand to close.

According to Indian media, Agra Mayor Naveen Jain has demanded that all historical sites of India, including the Taj Mahal, be closed until the virus is overcome.

Naveen Jain has said that a large number of international tourist come to Agra due to this the chances of spread of Coronavirus outbreak in the city is increasing. He said that I request to Government to close all historical places including the Taj Mahal.

Coronavirus Case increasing in India

There is a total of 31 cases of Coronavirus have been reported in India. Indian government instructs to state governments to not hold any ceremony or any rally.

Due to the increase in Coronavirus cases in India the most famous IIFA Awards has also been postponed. The 3 days ceremony of IIFA Awards has been canceled due to the deadly outbreak of coronavirus.

According to Indian media, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also canceled the visit of Barsals where he has to attend the India Europe summit.

On the other hand, due to coronavirus primary schools in New Delhi are also closed till 31st March 2020. All private and government schools will remain closed in New Delhi.
