Bomb Blast in Quetta

Bomb blast rattles Quetta city, 15 lives lost

An explosion on Shari Iqbal in Quetta has killed 8 people and injured several others. The explosion also damaged nearby buildings and several vehicles. After the blast, dead bodies and the injured immediately shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta.

After the blast, the emergency has immediately imposed in civil hospital Quetta. Rescue sources reported that many injured are in critical condition. Security forces surrounded the blast site and began collecting evidence. Security officials have currently declined to comment on the nature of the blast.

Quetta blast condemned

The Prime Minister, the President, the Home Minister, the Leader of the Opposition and the Chief Minister Sindh have condemned the blast in Quetta. Condemning the blast, President Arif Alawi has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives. Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed deep regret over the loss of precious lives in Quetta and directed the injured to provide the best medical care.

The PML-N has strongly condemned Shahbaz Sharif’s blast in Quetta and said that terrorist incidents should be taken seriously, the government should take cognizance of responsibility for implementation of the National Action Plan.

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah condemned the blast and expressed sadness and regret with the affected families. Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has strongly condemned the blast and expressed deep sorrow and regret over the loss of precious human lives.
