Bangladesh Shuts all educational Institution Aimed Coronavirus Scare

The deadly outbreak of COVID-19 that started from China’s city Wuhan is spreading rapidly across the globe. It has reached in 148+ countries worldwide. There are almost 182,000 corona infected persons across the globe. It has taken almost 6500+ lives worldwide. After China, Italy and Iran are the two most infected countries.

Due to scare of coronavirus spread in Bangladesh, the government has decided to close all educational institute including private and publish to close for two weeks.

“Primarily we decided to close the educational institutions on March 17-31, and further decisions will be taken after March 31, if necessary,” Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, the country’s deputy education minister, told Anadolu Agency.

This is step is taken due to amid scare of the spread of COVID-19.

As of March 17, 2020, the Coronavirus infected patients has risen to eight in Bangladesh. So, the government decided to close schools as gathering can spread the virus in the country.

Educational minister Dipu Moni gave details of the closure of all educational institutes. While taking in a press conference she said that we have decided to close all schools, colleges, universities, and dormitories until 31st March.

She also said that we will monitor that decision is accepted by private sectors or not. If not we will impose a ban and heavy fines on them who will not accept the orders.
