All offices, educational institutions and banks are closed in Kuwait

Kuwait has suspended all commercial flights to stop the spread of the Coronavirus, while offices and school colleges have been closed. According to a news website, the Kuwaiti government has announced several new measures on Wednesday as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

Kuwait’s government has been decided to suspend all commercial flights to Kuwait from Friday 13 March. Air cargo, Kuwaiti and their relative flights will be exempt from the decision to cancel flights. The Kuwaiti government has also announced the closure of all public and private entities for two weeks from March 13 to prevent the spread of Corona. Visitors to restaurants, coffee shops and shopping centers and gathering of people have been prohibited.

All banks and their branches in Kuwait will close from Thursday 13 March to March 29, bank services will be available online. The Kuwaiti stock market has also been closed for 2 weeks. The Kuwait Ministry of Health says that in the last 24 hours, Kuwait has confirmed 3 more Coronavirus patients and the total number of Coronavirus infected has risen to 72 in Kuwait. According to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, one of the 3 patients identified in Kuwait came from Iran, while the other is an Egyptian and a third Sudanese who came from a patient with Azerbaijan. ۔
