Assistant Special Health Officer Dr. Zafar Mirza has said that few private lab tests are being conducted in the country, and are poor. Only eight laboratories are conducting free coronavirus diagnostics tests across the country.
In a statement, he said that free corona kits have been officially provided to 8 laboratories across the country and there is no test fee.
He said the corona test capabilities can only be done because of the government-created laboratory-specific capability.

Zafar Mirza said Pakistan is one of the few countries capable of producing Corona’s test kit itself. He said that few private labs were being tested in the country and that the laboratories were misleading the citizens by saying that the Corona test was positive.
He said that 35 hospitals across the country have been allotted to have corona infected patients.
Remember that the Coronavirus has spread to more than 130 countries, including Pakistan. So far 28 confirmed cases of the virus have been confirmed in Pakistan while thousands of pilgrims returning from Iran have been kept in Quarantine.
