18 more cases confirmed in Pakistan, number of patients increased to 263

As more cases have been reported in Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Kashmir, the total number of people infected with Coronavirus has increased to 263 across the country.

Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, Sindh government spokesman Murtaza Wahab said that 50 percent of the pilgrimage in Sukkur has been confirmed with the virus, after which the total number of people in the province has reached 181. The people with positive tests have been shifted to quarantine.

The total number of patients in Sukkur is 143 and 38 across the province: Murtaza Wahab

Murtaza Wahab said that there are 38 patients in Sindh besides Sukkur, 2 of them have gone home after recovery and 36 have been shifted to different isolation wards.

He said that a total of 143 cases were reported in Sukkur and 38 cases in the rest of Sindh, making the total number 181.

Coronavirus Cases in Punjab

DC Muzaffargarh Amjad Shoaib confirmed the Coronavirus in seven patients treated at Rajab Tayyab Erdogan Hospital and said it allocated 62 beds for corona affected patients at the hospital.

After the emergence of seven more cases of Coronavirus in Punjab, the total number has increased to 41 in the province. The Coronavirus infected person was reported dead in Punjab yesterday, but provincial health minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid denied that the person undergoing treatment at Mayo Hospital was suffering from liver disease.

The first case confirmed in AJK

Deputy Commissioner Mirpur Azad Kashmir says a coronavirus has been confirmed in a person in Mirpur Isolation Ward.

DC Mirpur said that the affected person had come to Tuftaan from Iran 14 days ago. The victim had been kept in the Mirpur Isolation ward for four days.

Coronavirus cases have risen to 17 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa

DC Buner Mohammad Khalid Khan says the first case of Coronavirus has been reported in the Buner district.

Mohammad Khalid Khan said that after confirming the Coronavirus, the affected person was shifted to Digar Hospital Isolation Ward. The victim came from the United Arab Emirates a week ago.
